Welcome to PowerPoint! You can use this application to create digital slideshow presentations. You will find that it's a very useful tool to illustrate your points as you give reports in class or in convocation and you can use it many other ways as well.

Instruction will be given in class on all projects.

PowerPoint presentations can stand alone or act as a prompt and visual/auditory accompaniment to a live presentation. You will learn the basics of PowerPoint including typing and arranging text, inserting and manipulating images, formatting tools, and animating text. You will use PowerPoint for in-class presentations many times in middle school, starting with an interactive voice-over infused culminating project for Springboard.. In Tech class, we will discuss effective presentation techniques and how to get the computer program to help you get your point across. This project focuses on using the tool to support an end goal and effects like animation and sound are used only as necessary.
