Things to do :

Find an article about a topic that interests you. It can be about anything related to science. In other words, it doesn't have to be about biology (I would prefer it to be, but no points are taken off it isn't).
Read the entire article. Write down and be able to explain how the experiments were performed. Think about: What did they do? Why did they do it that way? Is there another method that could be used? Did they perform an experiment that answers their question? Did they answer their own question? Think critically about what was done, don't take it on face value. What information do you need to know to understand the article? What information does the class need to know?
Think about how this topic relates to the real world. How does this study impact society, the environment or our community? Explain.

Some articles at the bottom discuss other peoples work or controversies that surround a particular topic. Some say that further work needs to be done to shed light on a subject. Explain and discuss some of these ideas.

What questions do you have or you see that still need to be tackle? Does the scientific community need to advance technology to solve these problems?

Always end the chat with some sort of thought-provoking question that gets the class to discuss the topic.
