The image in the
corner of this page (and most of the others in my website) comes from
a picture
I took of a public school in northern Copenhagen,
Denmark, near
Falkoner
Allé.
The children made it by dipping their hands in paint. The mural
is meant to stand against racism- thus the rainbow of beautiful
colors. I thought
it appropriate to include the image as an integral part of my site,
even though I do not know the name of the school from which it
came.
The image of two
girls jumping rope that I've used on the Page
Centrale for the 6th
Grade Student Work page comes from the same photograph of the
same school. The image of books for the Virtual
Resources Link on
the Page Centrale comes from Bowditch.com/library.html
